Instant Gasket

Instant Gasket is a liquid gasket maker that lets you form your own seal between metal parts. Think of sumps, rocker covers, thermostat housings and gearbox covers. Once cured, the gasket sealant forms a flexible seal that helps keep the joint tight against oil and other fluids.

Instant Gasket is part of Proline, the Effektiv workshop line for garages, engine rebuilders and mechanics, and is equally useful for anyone working on their own car, motorbike or machinery. Available in a handy 200 ml pack.

1. Remove old gasket material and clean the mating surfaces so they are dry and grease-free.
2. Apply an even, continuous bead of Instant Gasket to one surface, running around the bolt holes.
3. Assemble the parts within the time stated on the label and tighten the bolts evenly.
4. Allow the gasket to cure as directed on the label before refilling fluids or starting the engine.
